Welcome!

I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Journalism and lifelong passion for the arts. I have always loved creating things and figuring out how to make something out of just an idea percolating in my head. The result of all of that passion can be found here!

I made up the term "Illustrated Photography" because I liked how it sounded and it really is what I do. I take pictures of anything I find interesting - from a cupcake on a plate to a beautiful barn in the country. Then, using the "procreate" application on my iPad Pro, I digitally illustrate these photographs - removing some elements and then drawing/painting new bits into it. Areas are re-colored, textures are added and layered the way I see it in my head. The final result is a completely new, transformed image.

I hope you enjoy my work. Please feel free to contact me for more information. Thanks for visiting!

Illustrated Photography

How do I create my art prints? Like this!

The tools I use are an Apple Pencil with my iPad Pro. I have also used a Wacom Bamboo tablet with my Apple iMac. All photographs are taken by me (with the exception of some commissioned art, where the photograph may be provided by the client). Completed artwork is printed as a giclee on archival quality fine art paper. Print size is approximately 8x11 but larger sizes are available upon request. Send me a message for more information. I hope you enjoy them as much as I love making them!
